Besides the obvious Marshall Tucker Band Ties all of the performers have close ties to George in one way or another. For example did you know: Candy Coburn - Candy recut Fire on the Mountain on her latest CD with George as a duet, George also performed his final show on the CW network with Candy which you can view by clicking here Justin McCorkle - is George's son and is a real chip off the ole block. Bruce Wall - was George's dear friend, neighbor, webmaster, and guitar tech. Southern Boys Band - "Uncle" George played with the Bailey Boys on several occasions and considered them family. Monica Perry - Dear friend to George and co-writer on such songs as Guitar Playing man which was cut on the latest MTB CD. Ragged Jack - George was working with and playing shows with both of these great bands prior to entering the hospital. Artimus Pyle, JoJo, - George not only knew these former Skynyrd members, he called them friend and performed with Artimus on several occassions. George also produced on the APB CD's. Michael Buffalo Smith - Gritz editer and friend of George's. George played on several projects of Michael's. Chris Hicks - George was very fond of Chris. George, Bruce, and US Legends even sent Chris a McCorkle Honey Guitar as a gift after George sat in with MTB at Starwood. George and Chris traded licks,,, What a night!!!!
