It is with a very heavy heart that I make this announcement:

George made his Journey Home  June 29th, 2007

I wish I could find the words right now to express the loss everyone is feeling.  But, there just are not words

that describe such a wonderful man, only music....Bruce Wall

I guess we who take the highway
are a different breed of men
with a special kind of feeling
for the ones who we call friend.
It's a late night conversation
in a thousand hotel rooms
or an arm around your shoulder when the morning comes too soon.
It'a flood in Sacramento
or a blizzard in St. Paul
and it takes a tough old soldier
to keep going through it all.
But we're not much more than human, when we lose one of our own
Now there's one more empty saddle,
This old cowboy has gone home.

On a personal note, I have known George for a few years now.  When I met him he was one of my musical heroes.  After knowing him one day, he was my inspiration as a man.  He is the man we all should strive to be.  I have heard the word "Legend" used on many people.  However, it was not until meeting George, that I truly understood it's meaning.  George you are my best friend, my brother, my hero, A true "Legend".  I Love you man!! .... Bruce Wall

I would like to thank all of you for your wonderful letters, prayers, and support.  George always said he had the greatest fans in the world.  Now I know why he loved you all so much.  Your well wishes and prayers have been a great comfort in these very trying days... Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'd like to thank each and every one of you for the outpouring of love and

support. Our family would not be able to get through this time without you.

I cannot express how thankful and appreciative I am. On behalf of our

family I thank you and thank you for being a friend, neighbor, and fan of my

Dad's. He was sincerely appreciative of each and every one of you, just as

we are. Sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.
